A Language Café offers people from different countries and cultures the opportunity to speak and learn languages in a relaxed atmosphere. There are "language tables" for different languages at each Language Café. Each table has a moderator who welcomes participants and naturally engages them in conversation. The main goal is to speak freely, practice listening, exchange ideas, and enjoy chatting together. Participants can freely choose and switch tables during the meetups. The only requirement is to have a basic knowledge of the foreign language to follow the conversation and actively participate.

The youth center Papperlapapp has been organizing the project "Sprachlounge - Caffè delle Lingue," in Bolzano since 2001. The project regularly takes place in three areas of the city. To celebrate the European Day of Languages the unibz Language Centre and the youth centre Papperlapapp are organizing a Language Café at the university campus in Bolzano. Everyone will have the opportunity to speak English, Italian, German, Ladin, Spanish, Portuguese, and French at the language tables and meet new people.

Just come, sit at a table, and start chatting! No registration is required.

Where: unibar + Universitätsplatz/ Piazza Università (Bolzano Campus) – in case of bad weather, the event will be held in the corridor on the ground floor
