Alessandra Pastore will talk to the students and faculty of unibz in this event which is part of the jour fixe series of IDM- Südtirol Film Commission.

The event is hosted by the cluster of Law, Economics, and Institution of the Faculty of Economics and Management, in cooperation with the unibz Career Service, and is meant to bring into academia insights from the film industry.

The event, in fact, is open also to producers and filmmakers, who may bring their perspective to the discussion: Wilfried Gufler (www.albolina.org) will briefly present his experience as producer.

Since 2006, Alessandra has been involved in the coordination of international vocational training programs and consults regularly with production companies. She is currently developing LAND-Local Audiovisual Network & Development, a format aimed at developing professional skills and networks in local environments in connection with the work of Film Commissions and Regions.

We expect to engage students from at least three faculties and continue the effort, by IDM and unibz, to create and cultivate an intersecting network of experts and practitioners in the burgeoning creative industry in South Tyrol. Unibz is committed to be an active player in this environment, especially now that research ventures sponsored by the EU Commission (Marie Sklodowska Curie, CERV, Horizon, etc.) have secondment, recommend non-academic partners, and cite filmmaking as a format for dissemination. Alessandra is an expert precisely on this type of cooperation and networks, and her presentation will be of interest for both students and professors.
